Derrick Rose On COVID-19 Battle: It Was Nothing Like The Flu!!

NBA baller Derrick Rose has opened up about his battle with the coronavirus.

He says it was far worse than the flu.

“They say everybody is different, but with me I never felt anything like that before,” Rose said per ESPN. “I’ve had the flu. It was nothing like the flu. It was that times 10. So like I said, I’m slowly getting back. I’m progressing every day and just trying to get back in the swing of things.”

Rose last played at the end of February and The Knicks announced that he was out of the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

“He has to go through conditioning, and once he’s ready to go, we’ll move forward with it. But he’s been out for a while now, so he’s just starting to ramp it up again and we’ll see how it goes,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Rose said that his kids also had gotten sick and they all quarantined together.
