A woman who alleged that Cuba Gooding Jr. pinched her butt at a club has won a default judgment against the actor — as he has failed to respond to the lawsuit.
Bartender Natasha Ashworth sued Gooding in October 2019. She says he repeatedly tried to pinch her butt while she was serving him at Tao Downtown nightclub in 2018.
According to Page Six, the actor never responded to her legal complaint and never even hired a civil attorney to defend himself against the suit. The default judgment was issued.

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Alexander Tisch granted Ashworth’s request for a default judgment against Gooding on the claims of assault and battery but denied default judgment on the claim of infliction of emotional distress, citing redundancy.
The amount she will be rewarded will be decided during an upcoming trial date.
At least 30 women have accused the actor of sexual misconduct. Some of the charges relate to groping, while some accuse the actor of rape.
