Comedian Michael Che is lashing out at the Oscars for still giving Will Smith an Oscar after he slapped Chris Rock.
“look. im not tryna make fun of hollywood,” he wrote. “im just saying, im frankly disappointed that the academy would just let will smith PHYSICALLY ATTACK a man, onstage, just because he didn’t like a joke! and THEN after that childish overreactions, they hand this guy a trophy?! and then they all gave him a STANDING OVATION?! i mean, as a viewer it literally felt like i was watching the Academy and all of Hollywood reward this guy for being dramatic. and thats wrong.”
I love doing comedy because sometimes… Michael Che shows up. I mean it’s not often but I’ll take it. pic.twitter.com/NHOZlIcWnu

Che has deleted all of his posts.
Smith apologized for the slap on social media.
“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” he wrote.
WILL SMITH LOSES IT AT THE OSCARS
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
