Chrissy Teigen has apologized for sending toxic text messages to Courtney Stodden several years ago, who was 16 years old at the time. But the apologies did not save Chrissy from backlash from her corporate sponsors.
Based on reports, it appears Target and Macy's are pulling away from Chrissy. Target has removed Chrissy's "Cravings" items from their website and Macy's have reduced her items too and will soon be selling them at 1/2 off.
Here's what Target looked like before:
And look at Macy's - discounting Chrissy's items to Clearance levels:
“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullsh*t in front of the entire world,” the model/chef wrote. “I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be.”
She added, “I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”
CHRISSY TEIGEN COOKING ON IG LIVE
Model Courtney Stodden is alleging that Chrissy Teigen slid into her DMs to tell her to kill herself when she was just a minor, 16 years old.
Courtney, now 26, became a headline 10 years ago when she married 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison and many celebrities including Chrissy targeted her with their venom.
Looking back she also alleges that her then husband began grooming her when she was 15.
“He told me everything a young girl would want to hear from somebody she’s craving love from, and when I got married to him, he changed. And he knew he had me where he wanted me, because he’s a master groomer,” told the Daily Beast.
