Chico DeBarge has been arrested for drug possession for the second time in 2021.
According to TMZ, the police received a call on Saturday of a man causing a disturbance inside of an RV. Officers found Debarge inside his motorhome — but they noticed that the registration expired more than 6 months prior.
The police then had his motor home impounded. It was then they discovered the methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Debarge was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released from custody.

In January DeBarge was pulled over with two passengers on January 13 for driving at night with no headlights or license plates. When police pulled over Chico and his friends, they learned that the R&B singer didn’t have any ID. The police claim that Chico lied about who he was and told officers that he was his older brother James. Officers claimed they found crystal meth and heroin after searching the singer. Chico was later taken into custody, where his real identity was discovered, and charged with drug possession, driving under the influence and impersonation.
