Kevin Federline, the father of Britney Spears’ two sons found out about the singer’s pregnancy on Instagram like the rest of the world.
“He and I spoke — I assumed I would be getting calls [from the media] and wanted to make sure I was saying something that was consistent with where he was at,” Federline’s attorney Vincent Kaplan told Page Six.
The singer;s former backup dancer reportedly “wishes [Spears] the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together. Obviously when you have a happy co-parent, it’s the best thing for your children, so Kevin is wishing her a happy and healthy pregnancy, and he wanted to extend his congratulations to Britney and Sam Asghari, and they have a gain through the excitement of planning parenthood together.”
Britney announced her pregnancy news last week on Instagram.
“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ … I thought ‘Geez … what happened to my stomach ???’ My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant silly !!!’ So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby ,” she wrote.
