The blogger who went viral for wrongly reporting that the Queen of England is dead has finally admitted to being wrong.
Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked shared an update to Instagram:
“The Queen is NOT dead. Given the confusion our original post has caused, Jason Lee and everyone else at this publication took a moment to thoughtfully lay out exactly why HU believed the 95-year-old royal had passed away and felt empowered to report it. Please scroll to the top of our Instagram page to view our retraction as the Queen is not dead. Below will also be Lee’s sincere apology:
“Although I’ve never been wrong when breaking a story because this involves The Queen this is one time I would want to be,” Lee clarified Thursday afternoon. “And based on Wednesday’s report from the Palace, I can say my sources got this wrong and I sincerely apologize to The Queen and the Royal Family.” — The Hollywood Unlocked Team”
