Attorney Arthur Horne has confirmed that he will no longer be representing any of the men charged with the murder of rapper Young Dolph.
"After reading a few recent articles, watching a half dozen blogs and skimming through the comments section I've learned a sobering fact: Misinformation spreads and sells far faster than the truth. There's also an old quote that goes: 'A lie will make it halfway around the world before the truth puts it's shoes on," he wrote on social media.
A follower then asked whether this meant he would not be representing the alleged shooters, and he said it did.
Shundale Barnett, who lives in Dallas but is from Memphis, was charged with accessory after the fact for a role in helping Justin Johnson, officials said this week. Barnett also faces charges of criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and theft of property from $10,000 to $60,000.
Justin Johnson, also known as Straight Drop, was arrested Tuesday in Indiana. Cornelius Smith was already in custody and was indicted in Shelby County on several charges in this case including first-degree murder.
