Antonio Brown has walked back on comments he made about Tom Brady after the Bucs released him.
He’s back to singing his praises.
“I love Tom. That’s my guy. Don’t get it twisted,” Brown told TMZ. “A lot of words were taken out of substance. Tom is one of my true friends in the midst of adversity that was there for me, so don’t get it twisted about nothing with Tom Brady. He’s a G.O.A.T. Great player. Great teammate,” he added. “Don’t let my distractions of what’s going on take away from that.”
Earlier this month, Brown suggested that Brady and his personal trainer tried to con him out of $100,000 for services that he never received.
“Imagine your QB trainer charging you 100K then doing no work must be was apart of these guys plan all along,” said Brown tweeted.
Antonio Brown now posting Dec. 24 texts with trainer Alex Guerrero, showing they had stopped working together. But Guerrero’s text back looks like what he should say there in response. Brown tagging Brady even. pic.twitter.com/8TOmP5j2tt
