There’s growing evidence that actor Chris Noth, star of the show Sex In The City is a serial attacker, and now being accused of violating at least three women – all of whom are reportedly Black.
There’s currently a third woman coming out with claims about Noth’s violent past behavior. That woman is 1980s supermodel Beverly Johnson. She and Chris dated for 5 years between 1990 and 1995. Then the two split.

Well MTO News did a bit of digging, and after the two separated Beverly Johnson filed a lawsuit against Chris – claiming that he abused and raped her. At the time, Chris was at the height of his career with Sex In The City and Law and Order, and so no one believed what these Black women were saying him.
But given the recent allegations against Chris, MTO News will revisit Beverly’s claims against Chris.
Beverly claimed in legal documents filed in the 1990s that the Sex In City star, now 67, ‘beat her’ during their relationship, and that he also made death threats against her while phoning her ’25 times a day’, threatened to disfigure her, and even ‘vowed to kill her dog’.
MTO News learned that at the time, Beverly was quoted as saying, ‘I’ve never been so frightened in my life. I just can’t believe that someone who had once been so tender and sweet could turn into this raging wild man.’
Beverly tried to get a restraining order against Noth, who was starring in the role of Detective Mike Logan on popular crime show Law & Order at the time.
So what happened to the lawsuit – NOTHING. MTO News learned that Beverly ran out of money to fight her case, and eventually dropped the lawsuit.
It seems that in the 1990s, people just didn’t believe the word of a Black woman over that of a handsome and famous White actor.
