While A$AP Rocky was locked up in Sweden after he assaulted a man, people called on Trump to help free him from jail.
The rapper says he is grateful for the effort but that Trump's meddling actually made his situation worse, not better.
"I was kinda scared that Trump was going to f*ck it up," A$AP Rocky says in the Stockholm Syndrome documentary.
"But on the other hand, I kinda was like 'that's what's up.' I mean, you want the most support you [can]. When the president supports you, I felt good. For the most part, I don't think he ever knows what's going on in the urban communities or the urban divisions of this political sh*t."

He added, "I was also scared that it was going to jeopardize me being in there longer."
The rapper was found guilty and was eventually let out after languishing in a Swedish jail for weeks. He is currently dating Rihanna.
