Chris Rock’s ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock is speaking out about her ex getting slapped at the Oscars and MTO News confirmed that – despite their bitter divorce – Malaak is riding with Chris.
MTO News spoke with a person close to Malaak who tell us that Chris’ ex was “shocked” by Will’s violent outburst against the father of their children.
Malaak Compton-Rock is a beautiful and well educated New York City socialite – who is known for speaking her mind.
Malaak’s friend explained, “Malaak and Chris are co-parenting together. And their kids had to watch what happened. It’s outrageous.”

And MTO News confirmed that Malaak took to Instagram this morning to let her feelings be known.
Malaak started off by congratulating QuestLove for his Oscar. Chris was presenting Questlove with his Oscar for Best Documentary when Will attacked Chris on stage.
Then Malaak made clear that Chris supports Black women – and showcases their beauty. She pointed out that Chris frequently tells their Black daughters that they are beautiful.
And in the movie that she and Chris produced together, Good Hair, they included interior designer Sheila Bridges – a woman who was bald, like Jada. And according to Malaak, they highlighted her beauty in the film:
Finally Malaak took a shot at Will. In a detailed statement, she claims that Will was not “triggered” to silence by any joke told by Chris. Rather that Will has some deep seeded issue that he needs to heal.
