The publicist of Bill Cosby, Andrew Wyatt, has cleared up remarks he made on his client’s behalf about R. Kelly.
“As the publicist of Mr. Cosby, I have the right to my opinion and my opinion is not a reflection of Mr. Cosby’s. Yes, I feel that Robert Kelly was railroaded and those were my words, not the words of Mr. Cosby. I will continue to reflect my views because the 1st Amendment allows me the same privileges as the media. Thank you very much,” he wrote.
Last week, Wyatt said the disgraced star was “railroaded.”

“The deck was stacked against Robert,” said Wyatt at the time.. “His constitutional rights were grossly abused. I don’t know anywhere but in this country in the United States that a documentary can bring criminal charges against someone.”
“No one fought hard for him,” and his attorneys didn’t “humanize him,” Wyatt said.
Cosby face immediate backlash for the remarks but Wyatt now says it was all him and not Cosby at all.
