Hugh Hefner’s son has defended his father over claims made in the new documentary series, Secrets of Playboy.
Cooper Hefner tweeted:
“Some may not approve of the life my Dad chose, but my father was not a liar. However unconventional, he was sincere in his approach and lived honestly. He was generous in nature and cared deeply for people. These salacious stories are a case study of regret becoming revenge.”

Former Playmate Holly Madison even went as far as to liken the Playboy mansion to a cult.
“The reason I think the mansion was very cult-like, looking back on it, is because we were all kind of gaslit and expected to think of Hef as like this really good guy,” Madison said. “And you started to feel like, ‘Oh, he’s not what they say in the media, he’s just a nice man.’
I'm sorry there is no defending this gross old man from his son or otherwise. Who gives a shit if he wasn't a liar. He was a whole lot of other disgusting things. These women that were abused deserve a voice. Oh and Cosby was a PREDATOR from the get go.. Shocker #SecretsOfPlayboy pic.twitter.com/Y3nwcm2y9A

“It was so easy to get isolated from the outside world there. You had a 9 o’clock curfew. You were encouraged to not have friends over. You weren’t really allowed to leave unless it was like a family holiday.”
