Young Thug revealed during a recent interview that he does not think that Lil Nas X should have announced that he is gay - because people are too judgemental.
"I feel like he probably shouldn't have told the world, because these days—motherf*ckers is just all judgment," he said to No Jumper host Adam22. "It ain't even about the music no more, Soon as the song comes on everybody's like 'this gay ass n*gga.'"
He also said on the podcast that the more successful you are, the less freedom you have:
"Back then it was free because you wasn't...you wasn't a superstar," he said. "Now it's like certain sh*t you can't do. Certain sh*t you can't say. It's like certain things I can't even do no more...I was free. I was able to say 'F*ck Trump.' Like 'I'm finna rob Trump and slit his throat.'"
Lil Nas X faced some backlash after he came out as gay on the last day of Pride Month - but he has also received quite a lot of support from fans and the industry alike.
