The home of West Coast rapper YG was reportedly raided after his SUV was involved in a recent shooting.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested and detained several individuals in the house, but  YG was not around during the raid and was not arrested.

According to reports, Tyquan Williams, 29, was arrested on suspicion of a weapons-related charge and is being held on $25,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The shooting incident happened earlier this month, and according to reports, the individuals in the SUV fired shots at cops pursuing the vehicle. 65-year-old Ricky Starks of Compton was killed in the crossfire.

On July 5, YG released a statement via his Twitter account to deny that he was in the SUV or involved in the incident:

"I was nowhere near the scene of this incident, I was in Hollywood recording in the studio all day. I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened!" he tweeted.
