A beautiful British beautician, 44, has been missing in Jamaica for 8 days where she was building her dream home. Police suspect that she may have been murdered - and her body buried in the backyard of the house.

Karen Cleary has been missing since November 25, when she arrived on the island to supervise the building of her dream home.

Karen's partner Andy Kane flew to Jamaica on Saturday to help search for his Karen.

So far things don't look good, and Jamaican police believe that she may have been killed.

Andy has been updating family and friends via Facebook, for the past week. Here are some of his recent postings:

'Basically with the help of the suspect being held they have identified a spot where they plan to dig in the garden.

'By the end of today I believe we will at least know the outcome of the search.'

'I have heard from the local police. They are holding a "prime suspect" in the case of Karen Cleary's disappearance.

'They will be searching the property and surrounding area with a canine team.

'As much as I hate to admit it I do not believe this is going to end well. I sincerely hope I am proved wrong.'

Karen, a hairdresser, and beautician was born in Jamaica but has lived in London for almost 20 years.

She had travelled to Jamaica to build a dream home for herself and partner Andy to share.
