A disturbing video is making the rounds on social media. It shows a woman killing her baby's father - after the two argued over child care.
The incident took place in the city of Paranaguá, in Brazil.
The woman, identified as 19-year-old Letícia dos Santos Porto, pulled up on the man around 6 o'clock in the morning - with two accomplices. She then attacked him, stabbing him 14 times - and killing him.
The victim, identified as Guilherme Constanntino, 35, died at the scene, and the three suspects are already detained at the city police station.
When asked by police why she murdered Guilherme - 19-year-old Leticia told police that he s*xually assaulted her when she was a child.
This makes us think about Cyntonia Brown. The teenager was given a 51-year prison sentence for the first-degree murder of 43-year-old estate agent Johnny Allen - a man who abused her as a child and trafficked her around the country.
Many feel that Cyntonia's sentence is too steep, especially considering that she was only 16 years old at the time, but the justice system isn't always set up to protect the abused and the exploited. Their reasons are not always taken into consideration when judges dish out their sentences.
We wonder if the judge who oversees her case will take her alleged abuse into account?
