Wendy Williams is returning to her show on March 4th. She has been on a well deserved medical leave for the past two months, as she recovered from complications to her Graves Disease.

Williams, 54, has been on hiatus from “The Wendy Williams Show” since December

Wendy has been open and honest about her health battle, and her recovery. And this morning she announced that she's well enough to come back.

Of course the audience can't wait until she's back on her daily talk show.

She was hospitalized long-term but then was spotted out with a friend at CVS in Florida. Rumors about her husband’s alleged infidelity and abuse swirled as her absence continued. While she was taking care of herself, Nick Cannon, Michael Rapaport, Jerry O’Connell and more guests filled in for her as hosts.

We enjoyed seeing the guest hosts fill in . .. but there's nothing like getting your morning tea freshly brewed by Queen Wendy.

In case you're wondering what Graves disease is, it's an autoimmune disease where the immune system incorrectly identifies the thyroid as foreign. Because of this misidentification, antibodies are generated and there are T-cells that intersect in their surveillance and produce factors which, in the case of Graves disease, frequently cause the over-activity of the thyroid gland, [aka hyperthyroidism].

Williams also broke her silence on Thursday to thank her team.

“Salute to Debmar-Mercury for believing from the start and thanks to my staff for tirelessly holding it down for me,” Williams added in a separate statement.
