Tennis star Venus Williams has settled the wrongful death lawsuit with the family of the victim killed in the fatal car crash.

CNN reports that the Palm Beach County court records show the case was closed last week but the details of the agreement have not been released.

In June 2017, Williams was involved in a car crash which 78-year-old Jerome Barson last June. Barson's Hyundai Accent crashed into Williams' Toyota Sequoia. He was rushed from the crash to the local hospital but later died. Barson's wife also suffered from a broken arm.

Barson’s wife, who was driving, suffered a broken arm. Williams was uninjured.

Shortly after the crash, surveillance footage revealed the crash to have not been Williams' fault.

We wish everybody involved a healthy recovery.
