Quantasia Sharpton, the woman who accused Usher of giving her herpes, has dropped her case against the star.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Sharpton through her attorney Lisa Bloom filed to dismiss the case against Usher. The case dismissal was made official on Thursday.
Quantasia sued Usher after claiming that he risked her health by not telling her about his alleged diagnosis of a sexually transmitted disease. She alleged further that she and Usher had sex after a performance of his in Atlantic City on her birthday.
After Quantasia gave a press conference on her case against Usher and pictures of her were released to the public, many doubted the allegations based on her appearance and questioned whether she and Usher even had a sexual encounter, but she fought back.
Last year, Quantasia blasted Jermaine Dupri and Usher, accusing them of "fat shaming" her after Dupri laughed about her weight during an interview.
"Okay, so this will be the last time that I address any of this sh*t cause quite frankly I'm tired of it," she wrote via Instagram. "It's not 'fat girl, big girl, herpes accuser' none of the sorts. Address me by my name or don't address or speak on me AT ALL."
