Twitter Thinks Candace Parker’s NEW WIFE Was Side Chick During Her Marriage To NBA Player!!

Yesterday NBA star Candace Parker announced that she is gay, and has been married to a woman since 2019. The news BLEW UP on Twitter.

Many of Candace’s fans were surprised to hear that she’s gay. And some weren’t even aware that she had split from her ex-husband Shelden Williams, who played college basketball at Duke University and also played in the NBA.

Candace married Sheldon in 2008 and the couple has a daughter named Lailaa Nicole Williams, born on May 13, 2009. In 2013, the couple seemed to be happily in love and purchased a 7,000-square-foot  home in Encino, Los Angeles, for $3.56 million.

But in November 2016, the couple split up after eight years of marriage when Sheldon filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

MTO News has confirmed that Candace and Sheldon spent a considerable amount of time apart during their marriage.

During each WNBA off-season from 2010 to 2015, Candace played for UMMC Ekaterinburg of the Russian League, winning five consecutive championships with the team.

It was during the off-season time in Russia, that Candace met a woman . .. . whom she would later marry, Anna Petrakova.

Well Black Twitter is wondering if Anna and Candace were messing around during her first marriage – and whether that messing around may have ended her marriage to Sheldon.

Here are some old Instagram posts from Candace, where she’s seen hanging out with her new wife back in 2012.

At the time, the two were reportedly “just friends.” But, it seemed odd to many onlookers that Candace – who was one of the best female basketball players in the world – was traveling all the way to Russia, to play basketball in her off-seasons.

Could it be that she was just trying to spend more time with her love interest?
