J.Lo and Shakira were joined on stage by Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Lopez's 11-year-old daughter Emme in a celebration of Latino culture. The performance went down after the 49ers and Chiefs ended the first half tied at 10 points apiece. The duo performed hits such as Lopez's "Waiting for Tonight" and Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" for the screaming crowd.

"I was in the middle of rehearsing and talking about this show and [my fiancé] Alex [Rodriguez] came to me with tears in his eyes, and he's like, 'You're not going to believe what happened,'" J.Lo said ahead of her performance per THR. "And he was devastated. I think it's just affecting everybody so much because it's just reminding us how fragile life is and how we have to appreciate every single moment."
