On Tuesday, the GRAMMYs announced that Jennifer Lopez would be performing a Motown tribute during the ceremony.

The news did not go down well on social media. Fans were shocked that Motown did not use one of their own artists, current or former, to deliver the tribute.

They were also annoyed that considering the event takes place during Black History month, they should have used a Black artist.

And lastly... J.Lo doesn't really have the vocal range needed to pull off a worthy nod to the iconic label.

Here are some of the reactions on Twitter:

J.Lo has been nominated for two Grammys including Best Dance Recording in 2000 (“Waiting for Tonight”) and again in the same category in 2001 (“Let’s Get Loud”) but has yet to win one.

Do y'all think that J.Lo can come through for the GRAMMYs or is the performance a disaster waiting to happen. Let us know.
