Disgraced Hollywood director has been found guilty on two of the five criminal charges he faced in his New York County trial on Monday after the jury deliberated for five days.

Weinstein, who had maintained his innocence throughout the legal proceedings, was convicted of criminal sexual assault in the first degree, based on the testimony of former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley.

He was also convicted of rape in the third degree, based on the testimony of one-time aspiring actress Jessica Mann.

Due to his poor health, Weinstein is being held at Bellevue Hospital prison ward in Manhattan.

THR reports that following the verdict, Weinstein's attorney Arthur Aidala said -- "All he kept saying over and over again was, 'I'm innocent. I'm innocent. How could this happen in America? I'm innocent. I'm innocent,'" Aidala recalled outside the courthouse.

Weinstein will be sentenced on March 11 and is facing a minimum of five years in up to 25 years behind bars.
