Twitter is divided over the announcement that Roc Nation founder Jay-Z teamed up with the NFL to oversee some entertainment options for the league as well as some of the league's social justice endeavors.

And one of the most outspoken Black activists, Shaun King, is blasting Jay-Z for his move. Here's what he wrote:

Jay-Z's partnership will mean that he will be overseeing the entertainment for the half-time show. Last year's was particularly awful.

"I think we have autonomy," Jay said, per XXL. "I anticipate that there will be a lot of — with any big organization, in this building right here we have internal problems. Anything that's new is going to go through its growing pains. We put what we want to do on the table. The NFL agreed to it. So we're gonna proceed with that as if we have a partnership."

But while this is massive news for Jay, the league's treatment of Colin Kaepernick who was allegedly blackballed for taking a knee in protest of police brutality and social injustice remains in the hearts and minds of many - and some people just cannot get their head around Jay's new business venture.

Twitter seems to be pretty divided on the issue:

Y'all think Jay-Z is up to something? Let us know what you think about this new deal.
