Twitter Calls Soul Train Awards 'Ghetto' - Bad Wigs & Poor Production!! - MTO News

Last night was the Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas - and it was hosted by beloved Hollywood actresses, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Tichina Arnold.

The show was well anticipated amongst fans of hip hop and R&B music - but there were so many missteps during the actual airing of the show, that most viewers ended up calling it "ghetto."

The missteps began with the pre-show, which was hosted by Ray J, Claudia Jordan and fashion icon June Ambrose. The hosts seemed disorganized, and forgot the names of many of the people they were interviewing!

Seriously?

And the production was just...terrible!

Then came Tisha Campbell's wig - Lord it was a mess.

The wig didn't appear to be sitting on her head right. Rather it looked like it was floating, ready to fall off her head at any moment. Some folks on Twitter pointed out that it looked like she was smuggling a small animal into the event under her wig:

And there's more. During the show, Summer Walker won the award for best new artist - and she accepted the award. But the singer looked like she was ashamed to be there
