President Trump tried to come for comedian Michelle Wolf, but she had time for his foolishness!
After Wolf's roasting of the entire Trump administration at last year's White House Correspondents Association, they will not be having a comedian this year - breaking tradition.
But he couldn't leave it there. He hopped on Twitter to dish out some shade, tweeting:
"So-called comedian Michelle Wolf bombed so badly last year at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner that this year, for the first time in decades, they will have an author instead of a comedian. Good first step in comeback of a dying evening and tradition! Maybe I will go?"
Wolf was quick to responded. She tweeted:
"I bet you'd be on my side if I had killed a journalist. #BeBest"
Wolf was, of course, referring to Trump's support of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia had ordered the assassination and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist and U.S. resident Jamal Khashoggi.
We'd love to say Trump's learned his lesson... but we doubt he has.
