Trick Daddy will not be spending any more time behind bars after he was charged for cocaine possession and driving under the influence — after he agreed to a plea deal.
The rapper and reality television star was arrested in January 2020 after being pulled over by Miami police. Officers say they smelled alcohol on his breath and that he failed a field sobriety test. Cops say they also found cocaine inside of a dollar bill he was carrying.
TRINA GOES IN ON LOOTERS
Miami prosecutors allowed Trick to plead guilty to possession of cocaine in exchange for getting credit for time served. His DUI charge was dropped.
“As part of the plea he was also able to give back to the community he loves so much with a donation to Camillus House homeless shelter,” Trick Daddy’s lawyer, Harris Gilbert, told TMZ.
We know that Trick’s happy he won’t have to go back to jail. He is yet to personally release a statement about the decision.
