Hollywood actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has pulled out of an upcoming show in Georgia, citing Georgia's new restrictive heartbeat abortion law as the reason.

“After much deliberation, I am postponing my upcoming show in Atlanta," Haddish, 39, said in a statement to ticketholders Saturday, according to 11ALive. "I love the state of Georgia, but I need to stand with women and until they withdraw Measure HB481, I cannot in good faith perform there.”

The controversial new law will ban abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can be as early as six weeks before many women know they are pregnant. The law set to go into effect in 2020 but will reportedly be challenged by the ACLU.

Several major film studios have threatened to cease filming in Georgia if the new bill is enacted next year. The controversial move could cost the state billions of dollars in revenue.
