A total of five women have accused Hollywood actor Cuba Gooding Jr. of sexual misconduct after another three women have stepped forward with fresh claims.

The star is currently awaiting trial after he was accused of forcible touching of two women, including a 29-year-old who says he squeezed her breast on June 9 at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Times Square. The woman told police she believed Gooding was drunk.

Gooding's lawyer, Mark Heller, says his client denies all allegations of misconduct against him.

"They can't simply add, it has to be taken to a grand jury, and if they didn't do it now, it's not likely they'll do it again," Heller said. "These 'other' cases, the district attorney did not have the confidence or the evidence that they are prosecutable, and that's why they were not (included) in the indictment."

He is due to be arraigned early Tuesday morning.
