50 Cent is going to be a very busy man in 2020 after the Power finale revealed that the show would be continuing through three spinoff shows.
The spinoffs are Power Book III: Raising Kanan, a prequel to the show, which centers around the character 50 Cent played on the show. Power Book IV: Influence is also headed our way with governor-to-be Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate), an unlikely fan-favorite.
Power Book V: Force will explore Tommy Egan, who will be based not in New York but in Los Angeles instead, which will make a change from the original show's dark, gritty New York streets.
"In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time," Starz boss Jeffrey Hirsch said on Sunday per Deadline.
"These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power's most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own."
