R&B singer, The Weeknd, looks a little different these days. The superstar singer put on a few pounds and cut his signature hair.

Now, according to many on social media, he's starting to look like Tyler Perry. 

Hold up...Tyler Perry? That's not necessarily a complimentary comparison. The Weekend is 29 years old, while Tyler is 50.

But maybe they're on to something. Here's what The Weeknd used to look like.

He has earned eight top-ten entries on the Billboard Hot 100: "Love Me Harder" with Ariana Grande; "Earned It"; "I Feel It Coming"; "Pray for Me" with Kendrick Lamar; "Call Out My Name"; and the number one singles "The Hills", "Can't Feel My Face", and "Starboy".
