The Toronto Sun, Drake's hometown paper is linking him to SIX MURDERS. The paper wrote a scathing piece this weekend, which all but accused Drake - the largest rapper in the game - of being involved with the killing of SIX Toronto men.
It was an extraordinary piece - especially since Drake is generally LOVED in the city. The author took extraordinary measures to try and link Drake to the murders. The article was a "hit piece" against Drake.
Here's what they said:
In Drake’s own city this has been a summer of 71 murders so far — three of which resulted in victims that have links to Drake or his businesses.
On May 21, Jaiden Jackson was shot 20 times after leaving the Drake co-owned Pick 6ix restaurant downtown.
Drake posted a condolence message on Instagram for rapper Jahvante “Smoke Dawg” Smart after the alleged Halal Gang member was gunned down in the Entertainment District along with producer Ernest “Koba Prime” Modekwe on June 30.
Others murdered who had connections to Drake include Ariela Navarro-Fenoy and Duvel Hibbert, 23, who were shot and mortally wounded at the Muzik nightclub at on the CNE grounds on Aug. 5, 2015, at the hip-hop star’s OVO after-party.
Drake’s fellow OVO stage mate, longtime friend and rapper Anthony “Fif” Soares was also gunned own in Scarborough on Sept. 15, 2017.
It adds up to six dead here in the city Drake nicknamed The Six.
Toronto Police and Toronto Crime Stoppers have expressed concern in the past over Drake’s refusal to assist investigators in homicide probes or even appeal for witnesses to come forward.
