Bill Montag, the father of 'The Hills: New Beginnings' star Heidi Montag has pleaded guilty to child abuse charges.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Montag pleaded guilty to a felony charge of Child Abuse - Knowingly/Reckless on August 5, 2016.

The new plea comes over a year after entering his initial not guilty plea.  

The victim was reportedly just 13 years of age when Montag sexually abused her. The abuse took place between 1993 and 1998 and the victim, who made the revelation to her therapist, says she was molested on more than 50 occasions.

Montag had been picked up by the Aspen Police Department on a failure to appear charge for three counts each of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and one charge of aggravated incest.

According to NBC9, 'Due to the statute of limitations, Montag is only eligible to be charged with crimes that occurred after July 1, 1996, when the victim would have been 16 years old.'
