MTV's popular show 'The Hills' has been given a reboot and original cast member, Heidi Montag, is receiving backlash for her comments about the show's lack of diversity.

There are no minorities on the show. The cast is all white. When asked by Vogue whether she wished the cast was more diverse, she said the following:

"We don’t all look the same. I mean [Audrina Patridge] has darker hair. I feel like [Mischa Barton] has darker hair. We’re California girls and it’s a group of friends and that just happens to be the group that came together but that’s just, ya know, the show was.”

She then added:

“I have other very diverse friends that are not featured on the show,” the mom-of-one defended.

Needless to say, her fans were unimpressed by her shallow response:

Well, they say that all publicity is good publicity. At least people are talking about the show. Somebody close to Heidi needs to give her a lesson in diversity.
