Embattled actor Jason Mitchell has reportedly signed up for counseling following his firing from The Chi after he was accused of sexual misconduct.
According to The Shade Room, a source informed them that Mitchell had completed a mental health course to get help in relation to the misconduct allegations that have been made by his industry peers.
Mitchell has also reportedly worked on anger management, self-awareness, acceptance of responsibility, and purpose.
He was accused by costar Tiffany Boone, who played Mitchell's girlfriend on 'The Chi,' was among several actresses on the series who had issues with Mitchell. Boone reportedly made several complaints of sexual harassment and allegedly felt so unsafe with Mitchell that at times, her fiance, 'Dear White People' actor Marque Richardson, came to set when she shot scenes with him. She later told producers of the show that she could not continue to work with him.
His agency subsequently dropped Mitchell, UTA; management company, Authentic Talent & Literary Management, as well as a Netflix movie he had been cast in as a lead, Desperados.
