The ASIAN Nail Salon In Brooklyn . . . That Attacked Black Women . . .SHUTS DOWN!!

The infamous Brooklyn nail salon - Red Apple Nails - closed down on Wednesday, August 29. The salon, which was located at 1426 Nostrand avenue in Flatbush Brooklyn has officially shut its doors.

The store went out of business after being faced with repeated protests in front of the store - ever since a racially charged brawl between black customers and Asian workers earlier this month, which resulted in two arrests.

Video of the incident shows a wild melee during which salon worker Huiyue Zheng (32) who was among those busted, chased a woman out of the shop while whacking her with a broomstick. The incident was reportedly sparked by a botched, $5 eyebrow wax on Christina Thomas (21).

Christina was arrested and later released. She's been cleared of all charges.

Several broomsticks were left propped against the roll-down gate covering the 888 Happy Red Apple Nails storefront in East Flatbush, and signs taped to it said “Black Dollars Matters!!” and “They wicked!”

A woman on the sidewalk also held a homemade sign saying, “Take Your Broomsticks and fly away, you witches!”

Both Zheng and Thomas face charges including misdemeanor assault, menacing and harassment.

On Monday afternoon, a line of nine uniformed cops protected the salon from about 75 angry protesters who hurled shoes, bottles and other objects as the owner and an employee were escorted out.

On Monday evening, about 150 demonstrators marched about five blocks from the shop to the Beautiful Red Apple Nails salon at 1224 Nostrand Ave., which has a nearly identical awning.

The protesters chanted slogans including, “No nails, no toes, these racist shops have got to go!,” and at least one person screamed, “Where is ICE?,” in apparent reference to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
