Tekashi 6ix9ine has had a bit of good luck after a misdemeanor assault case against him dropped stemming from an assault from a mall in Houston, Texas.

The incident took place back in January 2018 incident in which 6ix9ine allegedly choked a teenage boy at the Galleria Mall before his security allegedly demanded that the teenager erase video footage of the incident from his phone. The teenager, who was reportedly a fan of his music, asked for the case to be dropped over a year ago.

Tekashi's attorney, Carl A. Moore, told TMZ, "Mr. Hernandez has not been notified yet of the dismissal. We plan to notify him today. I am happy the prosecutors handling this case did what was fair and just today in Dismissing the charge against Mr. Hernandez. We hope that getting this case behind him will assist in him moving forward with his career."

Tekashi may be out of prison early, less than a year after cooperating with the Feds.
