Tekashi 6ix9ine has begun snitching on his homies, and he may be free any day now because of it.

Yesterday, TMZ reported that Tekashi snitched on his best friend, and implicated him in the shooting of rival rapper Chief Keef in New York City.

Shortly after that report, prosecutors amended the charges in the Tekashi 6ix9ine RICO federal case - and removed Tekashi as a defendant in the updated indictment.

Three new defendants were added to the now-10 person-indictment but Tekashi — given name Daniel Hernandez — who was on the initial indictment was missing from the new court papers.

In addition to the updated "Tekashi-free" indictment, prosecutors filed a sealed document with the case.

Neither the US attorney’s office nor his lawyer, Dawn Florio, would confirm if Hernandez had flipped on the gang and is working with the feds.

But the NY Post printed this in their paper today:

“In my experience if you haven’t pled [guilty] publicly and you’re taken off the indictment, you’re cooperating,” a federal criminal defense lawyer said.
