Incarcerated rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is reportedly hoping to be released from prison before the year ends.

Tekashi has been shunned by many after he cooperated with prosecutors so that he could receive a minimal sentence.

6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez) pleaded guilty to various charges. Codefendants "Shotti" Jordan, Jamel "Mel Murda" Jones, and Jensel "Ish" Butler also pleaded guilty. In a recent phone call with DJ Punch Shotti revealed that he will be serving 11 years behind bars.

Tekashi's attorney, Dawn Florio told TMZ that if the other men strike plea deals and the trial is called off they'll ask a judge to grant him time served -- he's been locked up since November. If the judge grants it, 6ix9ine could walk free because he's fulfilled his obligations under his cooperation agreement with authorities.

There have already been threats made against the rapper's life if he does walk free from prison after ratting out his former partners.
