Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly been released from prison and will now serve out the rest of his sentence under house arrest while wearing an ankle monitor.
And what was the first thing he did when he left prison? Post a video trolling.
The rapper was granted early release due to the coronavirus. According to Tekashi's attorney, he has asthma, which places him at high risk of complications if he were to ever to catch the virus.
And in the newly released video, Tekashi flashed his asthma inhaler and started laughing. In the video, the rapper appeared to be implying that he lied and "finessed" the court into allowing him out of prison early.
"In light of the heightened medical risk presented to Mr. Hernandez by the COVID-19 pandemic, there are extraordinary and compelling reasons to reduce Mr. Hernandez's sentence," the judge said when granting the release.
A Fox News journalist claims that she had spoken to the rapper's legal team, who said he would be allowed to return to social media and plans to work on two new albums.
Tekashi was facing more than 40 years in prison, but struck a deal with the government and testified against his former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew. At the time, it was reported that he turned down witness protection and many feel that the rapper's life could be at risk.
