Tekashi 6ix9ine ramps up his defense team by hiring celebrity attorney, Alex Shapiro - who has represented Jay-Z, 21 Savage and Patriot's owner, Robert Kraft.

6ix9ine who pleaded guilty in January to RICO charges as well as hiring someone to shoot Chief Keef turned state's witness in exchange for an early release.

Shapiro is currently representing Kraft in a prostitution case in Florida and, he also represented Jay-Z in his effort to diversify a "too white" arbitration panel that was hearing the '444' rapper's trademark dispute with clothing company Iconix.

Aside from Kraft, Shapiro has also represented some big names in sports.

Last week, a ninth member of the Tekashi's crew submitted a guilty plea. Denard Butler pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Manhattan to a racketeering charge just days after Nine Trey associate, Kintea "Kooda B" McKenzie, pleaded guilty to arranging the attempted Chief Keef last year outside the W hotel in Times Square.
