Jamel' Mel Murda' Jones, the leader of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, has received a sentence of 135 months in prison.

Mel Murda was recorded ordering members to "super violate" Tekashi shortly before they were all arrested and detained.

"You are literally telling your followers to go out and get Hernandez," Judge Paul Engelmayer told Mel Murda Jones before sentencing him to 11 years and three months in prison for his involvement with the gang.

The hefty sentence comes just over a week after Mel submitted a plea to the judge to give him a second chance.

"To me, right now, the most important company to keep is that of my family and my children," he wrote in the court docs.

"Please allow me to return to them as soon as possible," he continues. "I don't need a whole lot of time to fix myself. I need counseling and for you to believe in me, and see that I'm not the monster they paint me to be."
