The teenage son of Detroit rapper Obie Trice, who was shot during a domestic dispute last month, has filed for and been granted, a restraining order against him.

On Dec. 4, Trice had reportedly been drinking all day before be got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend. He eventually pulled a gun on her and her son, and as the son tried to wrestle with Obie, the gun went off and struck the teen in his hip.

The teen suffered a broken pelvis and gunshot wound to his groin during the incident.

The teen's request for the PPO states that he is "terribly afraid" of Trice, who he says is dangerous when intoxicated.

According to the Oakland Press, the teen's mother also applied for a protective order, but her request was denied by a judge who felt that she provided "insufficient evidence" to secure the order, despite the fact that he pulled a gun on her during a physical altercation.

No charges have been filed against the rapper over the shooting.
