Word is that Tamar Braxton was being a total DIVA at the Warner Theatre showing of Redemption of a Dogg play, in Washington - behind the scenes.

Here what Celebrity Insider is reporting:

"The very first sign that something was completely wrong was that during the intermission the comedian went MIA. The break took much longer than expected, almost an hour and the audience was told it’s all about some tech-related difficulties.

‘But when the show resumed, another actress was playing Braxton’s lead role, an angel who guides Snoop’s character as he navigates the rocky shores of fame, family and faith,’ IOL revealed.

The writer/director of the play Je’Caryous Johnson came on stage after the performance.

We thought everything was good for Tamar after she revealed video footage of her new love interest on Instagram last week. But since the breakdown of her marriage, things seem to be extremely rocky for the reality television star.

We hope she's doing ok.

Redemption of a Dogg is written, directed and produced by Je’Caryous Johnson, who created the recent Set It Off musical starring LeToya Luckett, Da Brat, Demetria McKinney, and Kyla Pratt. It is based on the life of Snoop Dogg.

According to a press release, the play “examines the internal battle one man has between preserving his life-long legacy and losing the love of his life when he is faced with choosing fame and fortune over faith and family.”
