An African American substitute teacher in Texas, was caught on tape beating up a White female student. Now the teacher, who was teaching the class for the last two months, has been fired.
The substitute, Tiffani Shadell Lankford, 32, was caught on video by a student's cell phone cam at Lehman High School in Hays County - punching a female student and knocking her unconscious.
In the video, Tiffani drags the teen to the floor and then stomps on the girl's head before walking away. The victim was taken to hospital for assessment. The school district reported her age as 16, while police stated the victim was 15 years old.
Tiffany had been working in the classroom 18 times since she started employment on August 30, according to the Hays Consolidated Independent School District (CISD).
And the sub is facing more extreme legal consequences. According to CBS news Tiffani was arrested by the Hays County Sheriff's Office. The local report says that she was charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault.
