Steve Harvey never wants to work with former NFL star Rob "Gronk" Gronkowsi again - EVER.

The former football star got drunk during the live taping of Steve Harvey's New Year's Eve special, and smashed a Lego statue of Steve on national television.

The former Patriots tight end’s antics left Harvey incredulous Tuesday night during “New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey” on Fox, when Gronkowski took a Lego model of Harvey’s head and spiked it to the ground, as he did with footballs during his NFL career. The head completely broke apart, and Gronkski flexed afterward before kicking some of the Legos around.

And Steve was so upset that he couldn't hide his disgust with Rob.

After Rob destroyed the statue, Steve looks off camera and asks the producer, "Why is he here?"

Then Steve looks directly at Gronk and angrily says, "Why are you here? What is wrong with you?" "You're mentally imbalanced," Steve added.

As the 62-year-old Harvey ripped Gronkowski, the 30-year-old Super Bowl winner danced in a throwback-style football uniform featuring a navy shirt with a yellow No. 87 on the front and an old school leather helmet.

Here's the video - you can see that Steve is TIGHT for real:

After the airing, MTO News reached out to a person who worked behind the scenes, and she confirmed that Steve was upset for real. The insider explained, "That moment was unscripted, and Steve's reaction was what it was."

She added, "I don't think you'll ever see the two working together - ever."

Gronkowski joined Fox Sports as an NFL analyst in October.
