The Golden State Warriors' star guard Steph Curry suffered a broken left hand against the Phoenix Suns, the team announced.

According to USA Today, Curry drove and collided with Suns center Aron Baynes. As they both fell, Baynes fell on his arm. He did not shoot any free throws, and when he headed to the locker room, X-rays confirmed the broken hand.

"Aron Baynes came up after the game and just wanted to know how Steph was doing," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. "You could tell he felt really bad. It's just a random basketball play, so stuff happens."

This is terrible news for the Golden State Warriors, who now have several of their players out with injuries.

"Of course it hurts knowing that Steph Curry's down," said Warriors rookie Eric Paschall, "... That's a very, very valuable piece of our team, but I feel like we're going to stay positive."
