Stacey Abrams has reportedly been signed on to produce a drama for CBS.
According to several reports, Never Tell, will be adapted from a book Abrams wrote under the pen name Selena Montgomery.
"It centers on a star linguistics professor with a complicated past who joins forces with a charismatic investigative journalist following the discovery of a cryptic message that's the only clue in a missing persons case," says THR. "Abrams has written eight novels under the Selena Montgomery pen name."
Abrams is the former Georgia House Minority leader, the first African American to lead in the House of Representatives, and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate. There was some speculation that she would run as Vice President alongside one of the Democratic candidates, but that talk has since died down.
Abrams lost the race to Brian Kemp, who she accused of rigging the votes. Thousands of Black Georgian's were prevented from voting. She has committed herself to fix the corrupt voting system.
